1. Service Overview

ONDA Nile (ondanile.com) is a public archive of audio and transcript content operated by ONDA, based in Austin, Texas. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Content in the Archive

Content in ONDA Nile is submitted by contributors and curators who represent that they have the right to share it. ONDA processes submitted content to generate transcripts, tags, and synopses. Downloaded content is for your personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise stated by the content creator.

3. Community Standards

Content on ONDA Nile must not contain hate speech, harassment, incitement to violence, or other material that is illegal or that ONDA determines is harmful to the community.

Contributors: A first violation will result in a request to remove the offending content. A repeat violation will result in forfeiture of any fees paid to ONDA Replay and permanent removal from ONDA Nile, in any role, going forward.

Curators: Curators are responsible for reviewing content contributed to their station. A curator is not held responsible merely because a contributor's submission violated these standards, responsibility arises from failing to review and act on violations once they are part of the curator's station. Repeated failure to do so may result in forfeiture of fees paid and removal of the curator's station from ONDA Nile.

4. Copyright.

Copyright in submitted content remains with the contributor or curator who created it. ONDA does not claim ownership of, or control over, that copyright. ONDA does, however, reserve the right to remove any content that violates the Community Standards described in Section 3.

5. Curator Program

Curators who submit content to ONDA Nile agree that submitted content does not infringe on any third-party rights. Curators may charge users for access to their content. ONDA has no involvement in, and receives no share of, revenue a curator generates from their content unless otherwise specified in a separate written agreement. ONDA Nile and ONDA Replay are resources for conveying information; ONDA is not responsible for the content that travels through them.

6. No Account Required

Browsing ONDA Nile does not require an account or personal information. Downloading a file does not, by itself, let you experience it, ONDA Replay, a separate application available on iOS and Android, is what plays the audio and transcript together and is required to consume the content.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not scrape, redistribute, or commercially exploit content from ONDA Nile without written permission. You may not use the site in any way that disrupts its operation or violates applicable law.

8. Disclaimers

ONDA Nile is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ONDA is not responsible for the accuracy of content submitted by third parties. We limit liability for indirect or consequential damages to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
