Overview
Your privacy matters to us. ONDA Nile does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to browse the archive. What you read and listen to is your business, not ours.
Information We Do Not Collect
ONDA does not collect, process, or store payment information related to transactions between station owners and their audience. Those transactions occur directly between the station owner and the listener and remain the sole responsibility of the station owner.
Information We May Collect
SMS delivery: ONDA uses SMS in three limited ways. In each case, your phone number is used only for the stated purpose and is not used for marketing.
YouTube conversion: If you submit a YouTube URL for conversion and provide your phone number to receive delivery notification, that number is used solely to send a text message when your file is ready.
Station notifications: If you subscribe to receive notifications from a station, your phone number is used to deliver download notifications when new content is published. You may stop receiving these notifications at any time by unsubscribing or contacting the station owner.
Listener authentication: If you choose to identify yourself on ONDA Nile to personalize your experience, a one-time verification code is sent to your phone number. Your phone number is retained only to support your saved station preferences and is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Station owners and contributors: If you activate a station or publish content as a contributor, ONDA retains your contact information and subscription details to manage that relationship.
ONDA does not collect, receive, process, or store payment information related to transactions between station owners and their audience. Those transactions occur directly between the station owner and the listener and remain the station owner's sole responsibility.
Paywall transactions: ONDA Nile supports stations that restrict content behind a paywall. Listeners who purchase access do so directly from the station owner using the payment method chosen by that station owner.
ONDA is not a party to those transactions and does not collect, receive, process, or store payment information related to paywall access. Questions regarding payment or privacy associated with a purchase should be directed to the station owner.
Standard web logs: Our hosting provider may collect standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) that are necessary to operate the service. We do not use these logs to identify individuals, build advertising profiles, or track your activity across websites.
Cookies
ONDA Nile uses no tracking cookies. Squarespace, our hosting platform, may set functional cookies necessary to operate the site. We do not add analytics or advertising cookies.
Children
ONDA Nile is not directed toward children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
